USS Gregory (DD-802) Association
TODAY
For the past three years The USS Gregory Association has grown enormously. The
roster has grown 6 times its size of two years ago with now over 1500 names of
shipmates and survivor's of deceased shipmates. Likewise the mailing has
quadrupled to over 300. As the association grows, so do expenses, which
are paid from the $12.00 annual dues. There are expenses that the association
simply can't bear that are being paid for by members, such as the website, and
expenses incurred while setting up reunions. It is the desire of the association
to keep annual dues at the nominal $12.00 fee which yields more pleasure than
most $12.00 fees that any of us have ever spent.
Who can join? Any former shipmate of the Gregory, their siblings, and
survivors. There are several survivors who have been very active in assisting
the association with stories and other information regarding shipmates both
living and deceased that would have otherwise been lost forever. It will be the
survivors of shipmates who will cause the association to live on beyond the last
surviving shipmate.
As a convenience for our members they may now join the association via the website (this page). You may simply email the
webmaster and the Secretary/Treasurer will send you an invoice. However, it does save
the association some postage expense if the form is printed and filled out then
mailed along with your check to the Secretary/Treasurer:
